A cheerful little card to share....

Hello, and happy Wednesday to everyone! The card I will show you today will be entered into the Paper Smooches Design Team Challenge and Retro Sketch Challenge # 33. I hope you all like it! :)

Happy Monday to you all!!!

First of all, did all of you watch the season premiere of "The Walking Dead" last night? If you haven't, you should go check it out!! Very suspensful!!! I have been waiting months to see the new episodes. The only problem with this show is that the shows are so quick!!! :P Anyway, on to other things... The past few weeks I've been pretty busy making baby shower invites for my best friend. I'm so happy she let me make them for her!!! They came out pretty cute considering this being the first time I've made a large quantity of cards at once. I made 45 of them! :) My friends husband is a fireman and since the baby is a boy, she wanted a fireman and dog and I was able to find the PERFECT stamp for her! It's a Simply Betty stamp. It looks like it was made for her. It had everything she wanted in it! The only thing was that I had a hard time deciding on colors since he's a fireman. I would have liked to do some baby blue in the card but there was nothing in the stamp that I could make that color. I decided on it being vintage instead. She really liked them, so that's good! Here is one of them....

First of all...OMG!!! I am soooooo excited!!! I just won a challenge for the first time! It was for the Paper Smooches Sparks Retro-Fab Challenge. I went to see who won yesterday and totally had to do a double-take! There were so many cute cards that I was surprised I won!

Lawnscaping Challenge....

Hello Everybody- Today I'm participating in the Lawnscaping's Sketch Challenge # 41.

This was a really fun and quick card I made. I tried to make something similar to the sketch but not identical. Hopefully it still works for this challenge.

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a happy Thanksgiving!!!  I know I did, well except for the cold I got on Sunday night!  But anyway, here are a few more of my cards that I've made lately.  I'm trying to get serious about making and sending out Christmas cards this year so here's the two I've made so far and a few others I made previously.

On this card I used Paper Smooches stamps and glitter paper.

This is an Elzybell's stamp which coordinated perfectly with these brads and ribbon!

And this last one is a super sweet Tiddly Inks digi image! It's so fun trying different coloring mediums to see what texture you can give to an image.

Do you ever get the feeling....

Do you ever get the feeling that you've seen your newly created card somewhere before? You look at sooooo many sketches and cards that others have made and wonder if you've accidentally copied someone.... Was it an actual card or just a sketch that I've seen somewhere??? So you look around at your favorite blogs to make sure and you can't find it! You think to yourself, "Should I post it or not?" Well, that's what has happened to me this week. I made the first card below for Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge and wondered if I had seen it somewhere. Then I looked all over the Paper Smooches Site and couldn't find anything! So this is my apology if I have, by accident, copied your card! Kinda funny, he he

Two challenge entries...

I'm back.... I haven't visited my blog in a while.... I am entering two cards into challenges. The first one is for Lawnfawn's create your own patterned paper challenge. It was really fun to make!!

The second one is for Paper Smooches Sparks Color Challenge. I tried out something new with this one. I stamped my spaceship on kraft cardstock and colored it with colored pencils and I love how it turned out!

anything for over a month!! I guess I must have been a little busy!! :) Here's a baby card that I made for my supervisor but I also thought I'd send it in to the papersmooches sparks challenge, unfortunately I just missed the deadline...oops...

Here's a birthday card that I made the other day too! I just absolutely love this new stamp set from PaperSmooches called "Party Posse." Just too cute!!! On the inside it says, "It's your birthday."
